An estimated 36,000 gathered on June 20-21 to worship the sun and celebrate paganism at the ancient shrine of Stonehenge. The pagan festival falls on summer solstice, the longest day of the year. The crowd represented a mixed multitude of self-styled Druids, New Agers, Neo-Pagans, Hindus, Animists, Aztecs, and curious onlookers. Many practiced yoga to align themselves with the pantheistic “god in all.” The 25 arrests were largely for drug offenses. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
