![]() From 2011 to 2017, at least 259 people died while taking selfies, and those are only the ones reported in English-language news reports. This is the finding of a comprehensive investigation by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The average age was 23 years, and 72.5% were men. Most of the deaths were the result of drowning (70), falls (48), fire (48), and vehicles (51). The Bible prophesied the selfie generation 2,000 years ago. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves...” (2 Timothy 3:1-2). (By the way, a photo of two people is not a selfie; perhaps it is an we-sie.) (Friday Church News Notes, October 12, 2018, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) Comments are closed.
