Scientific Dating

Psalm 10:4-5
“The wicked, through the pride of his proud countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgements are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.”

The subject of scientific dating has to do with scientific methods used to try to figure out how old the Earth is. However, you should know that what evolutionary scientists aren't telling you about their methods changes the whole picture!

You see, there are over 100 different methods that may be used to date the Earth or the universe. For example, if we measure the amount of dissolved aluminum in the oceans and then measure the rate at which aluminum is being carried into the oceans by the world’s rivers, we can scientifically “prove” that the Earth is not more than 100 years old! Now, that “scientific” finding is silly. The truth is, there are half a dozen scientific methods for dating the age of the Earth that “prove” that it is 1,000 years old or less. Fewer than a dozen methods show that the Earth is over 1 billion years old!

When mathematicians encounter such a wide range of results, especially when some of the results at the extremes of the range are clearly wrong, they begin to eliminate equal numbers of results at both ends of the extreme. If we do that with the results of modern scientific methods, no method would be left that shows the Earth to be much more than 100 million years.

The most amazing things is that fully 15 percent of all the dating methods cluster around an age for the Earth of between 6,000 and 10,000 years. So the scientific evidence, fairly considered, fits in very nicely with the age for the Earth of around 6,000 years that is found in the Bible.
