Senior Palestinian Official Says Allah Will Bring Jews to Israel so They Can Kill Them

Speaking on the official PA (Palestinian Authority) TV, senior Palestinian official Abbas Zaki said that Israelis “are an advanced instrument of evil” and that “Allah will gather them so that we can kill them” (Mar. 12, 2014). He said that he was informing Israel President Benjamin Netanyahu of “his death” (“Senior Palestinian Official,” Palestinian Media Watch, Mar. 13, 2014). Zaki is a close associate of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who met with U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House five days after making the previous statement. The PA has refused to recognize Israel as “the Jewish state,” and on March 13 U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told the House Committee on Foreign Affairs that it is a mistake to require them to do so. In 2011, Zaki said on Al-Jazeera TV that their goal is for Israel to be “removed from existence” and that they try to keep this a secret from the world press.
